Hello all,
My husband proposed to me on December 10th, 2009 at The Keg Steakhouse in Toronto. I found myself searching the internet for budget-friendly wedding ideas for a year-and-a-half. We had always spoken about having a destination wedding, and in fact, this is all we wanted; however, when speaking to friends and family regarding this, we realized that if we wanted to celebrate our wedding with all of our friends and family, we would have to get married in Toronto.
Therefore, we were on a quest to have a destination wedding and a reception in Toronto. We were, however, limited by a restricted budget. I was in my last year of nursing school with a student loan looming over me. I had not yet secured employment and we had just began saving for a home. I therefore searched long and hard for things that would help make our dreams come true without sinking ourselves in a pile of debt.
This blog will hopefully assist TO-BE-BRIDES to make their dreams come true, no matter what their budget may be...
